Parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) struggle to find the right treatment and therapy for their kids.

Children with ASD are often misdiagnosed, or not diagnosed at all because they don’t show symptoms that are easily identifiable. The earlier a child is diagnosed, the better chance they have at a successful outcome.

Our behavior analysts can assess your child’s skills and interests to create an individualized treatment plan that will help them reach their full potential in life. We offer home-based ABA therapy services as well as clinic based services for those who live nearby our office locations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale Florida .

Our Services

ABA Therapy

Whether it is social phobia, specific phobia, post traumatic stress disorder, general anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, or similar, it falls under the category of anxiety disorder, and calls for clinical and therapeutic treatment.

Psychological Evaluation

Individual treatment is often termed as psychotherapy, and is meant to help people with their emotional issues, which can range in order of their severity or intensity.

Psychotherapy

Our systematic approach towards couple therapy is defined on the lines of enhancing the communication between the partners, and establishing short term and long term goals, where both the partners would be given their own schedules of expectations to be fulfilled, effectively working towards improving the relationship.

Nutritional Services

Our Registered Dietitian (RDN) provides nutrition counseling for your child/adolescent to optimize their nutritional status. Services include comprehensive nutrition assessment, individualized nutrition counseling, specialized therapeutic elimination diets (e.g., gluten-free, casein free), and counseling for weight control (e.g., overweight/underweight).

Training

ALOS offers a 40-Hour hybrid (online/in-person) training course to all prospective candidates who meet the minimum Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) eligibility requirements. The training is based on the RBT Task List (2nd ed.) and must be completed within a 180-day period and in no less than a 5-day period.

Supervision Program

ALOS offer the opportunity to complete supervised fieldwork and concentrated supervised fieldwork for those candidates pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification. Our supervision and practicum programs provide hands-on learning and real-life experiences to develop the necessary clinical skills and competences based on the BACB Experience Standards.
